Catavino is an independent online informational resource dedicated to Spanish and Portuguese wines. We began this site on the premise that there wasn’t a comprehensive and objective site about Iberian wine. Add this little tidbit to the fact that we are residents here in Spain and have easy access to all sorts of wonderful wines, and voila, our website was born! Secondarily, as Spanish and Portuguese wines begin to take a larger market share in the world market, we figured we could aid people who want to know more about Iberian wines. From bodega profiles, to regional profiles and tasting notes our intention is to help you feel confident as you walk into your local wine shop looking for a bottle of Spanish or Portuguese wine.
